We believe that all PAs/Carers should have access to a minimum standard of training when caring for someone. 

Allowing them to become COMPETENT and CONFIDENT and to give you peace of mind that the right level of caring is being provided for your family. 

We have set up a simple package of core online courses that can be purchased to give your PAs/Carers a foundation to build on.

This core training includes:- 

• Safeguarding Children & Young Adults - Level 2 (POCA 2) (1 Hour)
• Food Safety and Hygiene (2 Hours)
• Moving & Handling (3 Hours) 
• Medication Awareness and Record Keeping For Care Workers (3 Hours)
• Fire Safety Awareness (0.5 Hour) 
• Health & Safety Including Risk Incident Reporting (0.5 Hour)
• Infection Control and Standard Precautions (0.5 Hour)
• Basic Life Support (4 Hours) 
• First aid (4 Hours)
• Autism Awareness (1 Hour)

We've worked closely with our in-house Complex Needs/SEN Clinical Nurse Specialist to select the right courses so you don't have to, giving you time back with your family.  

There are many ways for individuals to learn and E-Learning is a great way to develop the core skills to become COMPETENT & CONFIDENT in a care role. 

E-Learning allows your PAs/Carers to develop their knowledge and skills at a time and place that suits you and them e.g. from the comfort of their home when not on shift or whilst on a night shift.

Certificates can be requested on completion of the courses to provide evidence of key training for your ICB / Local Authority.
